Messy Church … at Greasby Methodist Church, Saturday 18th February between 4-6pm. The theme for February is “Love Rules” (Valentines). There are a number of exciting activities on offer for all the family, including a family praise service which is followed by a hot meal in the youth hall (we cater for all dietary requirements). Family Fun Day … Thursday 23rd February 12-3pm at Hoylake Chapel, Hoylake.  UV Roller disco, bouncy castle, UV face painting, Raffles, stalls, refreshments and much much more. Fun for all the family. MARCH OF THE MODS CHARITY EVENT … 4th March in Tom Halls Tavern, Liverpool. The events start at 4.30 til late and we have 6 great bands and a DJ with raffles and an auction. Tickets are £10 and can be purchased online http:/liverpoolmodsevent.weebley.com/  or they can be purchased from the venue.  All money raised goes to charity.  For the last 4 years of doing these events we have raised just over £350k all of which has gone to Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT). The Clothes Sale … 24th April at United Reformed Church, Higher Bebington Rd, CH63 2PL. The sale starts at 10am-3pm and entry is free. There will be new and nearly new clothes, handbags etc. All proceeds to Wirral Hospice St John’s. For more information call 0151 343 0778

Wirral FUSS/FUPS Scheme (Free uniform recycle programme) … We run several activities for all ages of Wirralians: lunch & social club for seniors, CAP Job Club for job seekers, community volunteering amongst many others, the list is endless. Wirral Bird Club … Indoor Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month (except August and December) at Kingsmead School Hall, Bertram Drive, Hoylake, CH47 0LL, starting at 8.00 pm. Guest speakers offer illustrated presentations on a wide variety of bird-related topics.  Visitors are very welcome and the cost is £4.00, which includes light refreshments. The club also arranges a number of Field Trips throughout the year, which visitors are also very welcome to join, at no cost.

Autumn Lunch Club at Leasowe Community Centre … If you are over 55 and looking for a nice relaxing lunch in a warm and friendly atmosphere then why not come to the Autumn Lunch Club? Your first visit is free and then £3.00 per visit with all proceeds going to the charity. Transport is available for a nominal fee of £1 each way. We especially have spaces on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Community Project … as part of a social action project 16 of us are going to be regenerating a piece of land belonging to the HYPE organisation. For this to happen it’s going to take a fairly long period of time so it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could donate outdoor games or toys we can use even equipment or old paint would be greatly appreciated. Wirral O Gauge Group … is a model railway enthusiasts group and they meet on a Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm and a Wednesday at 1.30pm. Art Sessions … in Melrose Hall, Hoylake on Mondays 10am till noon. It is a friendly and relaxed group and caters for all levels in water based oils paints.  The sessions are £3.50. The Bacon Butty Brunch Club … at St Hildeburghs Church Centre in Hoylake serves bacon butties tea or coffee and the chance to meet new friends.  It is held every Tuesday from 10.30am till noon. It is a free service but donations are welcome. For more information call 0151 632 5339

Leasowe Lighthouse … is open for guided tours from: 12:00 – 16:00 on the FIRST Sunday only of each month. Guided tours to the top are £2 for adults and £1 for Children who must be at least 1.06 metres tall to be able to take the tour. Free Safety Checks … for your bike is being offered at Tam O’Shanter farm every Saturday between 10am and 4pm. ‘Dr Bike’ , a local mechanic of 25 years experience, will offer cycle maintenance and servicing for you for all makes of bike. Wirral Community Meals … has been set up to help elderly and vulnerable people affected by the removal of the subsidy for meals on wheels. They are looking for volunteers with transport in the Bebington and Bromborough areas willing to deliver hot meals between 11.30 and 1.30pm Monday to Friday. Interested? Bee Wirral … has started a Men’s Taskforce called ‘Silverbacks’ which meets at Livingstone Street Community Centre every Tuesday from 10am. It’s an informal Men Only group with opportunities to learn new skills, tend to free range chickens and help to improve the centre or just chilling out. Each session ends with a communal lunch. Survivor Stroke Support … invites you to join us every 2 weeks in the Bebington Suite, Bebington Civic Centre. From the 9thof June 1pm-3pm.
